Tadd Cole: President and Founder of Highland Heritage Landscapes, Inc.

Tadd Cole, President and founder, Highland Heritage Landscapes, Inc. was born in 1965 in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. This is where he was inspired by the natural beauty of the Adirondack Mountains. While still in high school, Tadd developed a deep respect for the environment and decided to become a Landscape Architect. After receiving an Associates Degree in Landscape Management from SUNY Cobleskill in 1986, Tadd went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia in 1990.

Tadd credits both his parents for his strong work ethic. Tadd applies this work ethic to every project he works on. He is committed to giving back to the community he lives in, whether it be providing volunteer hours and landscape materials to his sons elementary school, or coaching his sons inline hockey team. He has lived in Asheville for 13 years with his wife Lori and their son.

Tadd is a California licensed Landscape Architect, North Carolina Certified Plant Professional, Licensed North Carolina Landscape Contractor, North Carolina licensed Irrigation Contractor and a member of the North Carolina Landscape & Nursery Association.
